This form is to request surrender. This form does not guarantee that we will be able to accept the requested bird(s). We may not approve surrenders for a variety of reasons (limited/no available space in our building, bird type not accepted, etc.). If you do not receive a response from us within 48 hours, please contact us through text, email, or our Facebook page to follow up.
If we are not able to accept the surrender, we are often able to help in other ways. We have a variety of options and will do our best to assist you!

At Feathers Galore, we recognize surrendering your bird is not an easy decision. Upon determination to surrender your bird to Feathers Galore, we offer the opportunity to remain active in their journey to adoption. Progress of the bird will be posted on the rescue's Facebook page. We also offer periodic updates on the bird if desired. We are happy to keep you as an active part of their life during their time with Feathers Galore. We want you to feel comfortable that your bird is in excellent care and that we will ensure your bird goes to the perfect home based on their needs and personality. We do not require a surrender fee, but donations are always greatly appreciated!
Surrendering your bird may not always the best option for you. We also offer assistance with problem behaviors that may cause you to consider surrendering your bird. Our assistance is free of charge! We are always available to discuss your options.
